Unannounced FPS Project

This is one of my current active project I am working as a Lead Level Designer for Alderon Games. This is an Open World First Person Shooter Survival Game. For this project I am responsible for core level design pillars and overall map design as well as team processes and standards and managing up to 8 developers at once. While working on this game I have developed many 2d plans and layouts for a large amount of map POIs including the overall POI spread and theme for major locations of the map. I have worked extensively on developing core POIs through all Blockout iterations in Engine. For a vertical slice POI worked through all steps of map production including Blockout, Environment Art, Set-Dressing, and Optimization to get all sub locations to a playable state and complete state. I was also responsible in designing core world interactions such as power grid systems and loot plans, also tasked with familiarizing self with Houdini based tool.

Path of Titans

This is one of my current active project I am working as a Lead Level Designer for Alderon Games. Path of Titans is a popular Dinosaur themed survival game. On this project I was responsible for managing a team of 4 Level Designers on a unannounced map and worked extensively on the Gondwa Map. As a Level Designer I was challenged with designing interesting gameplay experiences for players while being restricted to natural organic elements, that has given me a high proficiency in environmental art. The majority of blockout and development included high skill use of Landscape Tools and Procedural Foliage Generation and usage of cliff and rock meshes. I worked very closely with creative and art leads to established interesting biomes and visual themes in all maps. I developed and worked on world size maps as well as small scale deathmatch style maps including 2D plans and layouts. Finally a major responsibility I have is quest design for a upcoming new system.

TIMESPLITTERS

This is a collection of some of my work done as a Level Designer in the TimeSplitters Rewind project by Cinder Interactive. For this project I re-made and fully re-designed levels from the classic FPS TimeSplitters by Free Radical Games. I often found myself making blockouts and documentation for various levels. I also lead a team of 3 other designers to design and create a custom level editor.

Bubble Gum Hero

This is my work from Bubble Gum Hero done as my Capstone project with 2 other designers in order to complete my degree at Sheridan College. Our game was also presented at XP Summit 2021. Some of my roles include being Producer to keep the team on track, organizing major documentation, and maintain team work flow to ensure everything is on track and make major content cuts when needed. I also did environment programing, prototyping, Ai programming. Game Design, Level Design, and sound implementation and design.
